Manager of The Village Pre-School
Julia Savage-Wilson
My name is Julia, I come from Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A. I'm married and have three children ages 6, 4 and 2.
I studied Sociology and Education at Northeastern University where I received my BSc and Masters in the Art of Teaching. I have been a classroom teacher for over 12 years and held Middle and Senior leadership positions within Early Years, State Primary, Private and International Schools.
I have had an amazing start at The Village Pre-School and I am looking forward to my journey here with the team, children and wonderful families that join us. I know all of the children and their families will thoroughly enjoy the experience and I look forward to meeting you all.

The Village Pre-School Deputy Manager/ Forest School Lead/ SENCO
Beth Aggus
My name is Beth, I am married with three grown up sons. My passion for childcare started when I volunteered and then worked at my children’s school.
I joined The Village Pre-School as a student in 2011, then I become a Key worker in 2015. I become the SENCO and then in 2017, I trained as Forest school leader.
I became Deputy manager in September 2021.
I love working here and think we have a fabulous team!

Simone Fontaine
My name is Simone, I have two children age 5 and 6.
I am originally from Denmark and moved to London in my early twenties where I worked in the travel industry for many years. I then moved into the charity sector where I found my passion for accountancy. I am now a qualified Bookkeeper and actively pursing my accountancy qualifications.
I love working here and being part of the team it definitely feels like a second home to me.

Early Years Practioner Level 3/ Forest School Lead
Indra Gray
My name is Indra, I am married with two daughters. I was born in Lithuania but have spent nearly half my life in England. When I was younger, I wanted to either work in musical theatre or be a teacher. I never thought that I would find my dream job in England, at The Village Pre-school.
In 2012, I started as a parent when my daughters attended the preschool, I then became Committee Chair, going on to become a student with preschool as my placement and then in September 2018, I finally became a staff member.
Like Vincent Van Gogh once said ‘The best way to know life is to love many things’ and that is what I have found here, excellent staff and wonderful children.

Early Years Practioner Level 3
Dziuginta Mayache
My name is Dziuginta and I am married with two children. I was born in Lithuania and moved here in 2006.
I joined The Village Pre-School in 2017 as a level 2 student and I became a member of the staff team in 2018 and went on to do level 3.
I am passionate about supporting development in under 5’s as I believe a child’s early experiences contribute massively to their future lives.

Early Years Practioner Level 3
Uzma Shuja
My name is Uzma and I have 2 grown up children, I joined The Village Pre-School in January 2009 as temporary staff and ended up staying.
In 2015 I undertook Special educational needs training . I am a key worker and I enjoy my time with the children. I was born in Pakistan and I speak Urdu.

Early Years Practioner Level 2
Sue Oudit
My name is Sue and I have a grown up son. I joined The Village Pre-School in January 2015 as a 1:1 support working for a child with additional needs.
When he left to go to reception, I ended up staying and becoming a key worker. I have previously worked in a main stream school and I have a passion for working with children, supporting and helping them to development the skills that they will need for their future.
I value and enjoy being part of The Village Preschool staff team

Early Years Practioner Level 3
Sofia Alves
My name is Sofia, I joined The Village Preschool as a level 3 student in January 2021.
As my training came to an end, I was offered the chance to stay at The Village Pre-School and join the lovely team as key worker.
Seeing the children overcome challenges and succeed in new experiences makes me enjoy my role. I speak fluent Portuguese and English.

Early Years Student - Level 2
Melissa Chown
My name is Melissa, I joined The Village Preschool as a student in September 2020.
I am currently studying Level 2 in Childcare. I really enjoy spending time with children and I hope to qualify and continue to go on to do my Level 3 in Childcare.
